A Place We Chose Tour - The Ultimate Alkoomi Experience

Step into our world with this immersive journey across our historic property. Named after the meaning of "Alkoomi" itself - "a place we chose" - this down-to-earth experience captures the essence of what makes our corner of Frankland River so special.
Your adventure begins at our winery with a welcome glass in hand, where you'll discover the stories behind our winemaking process in our original 1979 winery building. Then, hop aboard our ute for an authentic farm tour, visiting landmarks like the old homestead and its magnificent fig tree, along with some of our first vineyard plantings.
The highlight? A private picnic set among the grass trees, where you'll enjoy 1.5 hours of uninterrupted relaxation with a bottle of wine and a feast worthy of the setting. It's just you, great wine, and some of Western Australia's most spectacular views.

Shiraz + Riesling Museum Masterclass

Frankland River's Riesling and Shiraz may be one of the wine world's best-kept secrets, but we're ready to share it with you. Join our winemaker or family members in our original cellar door for an exploration of these remarkable varieties through both current releases and special museum wines.
This intimate masterclass includes a behind-the-scenes winery tour where you'll taste straight from the barrel. You'll also have the exclusive opportunity to sample our limited Cultivated Collection Shiraz ($120/bottle) and Riesling ($80/bottle). Complete your experience with a cheese platter, enjoyed either on our sunny lawn or beside our cozy fire.

Laze + Graze Picnic

We'll send you off with a local picnic hamper and a bottle of wine, then leave you to enjoy two hours of pure serenity in your private corner of our estate.
