James Halliday Wine Companion 2022
Partially barrel fermented and matured for 3 months. This is very classy. Restrained Granny Smith, lychee, guava and lemongrass mingle with cape gooseberry and juniper berry.
On the palate the acidity is austere/rigid yet refreshing; the entire package being on of textural complexity and restraint. Bravo.
