2007 Wandoo Semillon
Each year the same block of estate grown, old Semillon vines produce exceptional fruit with intense aromas and mouth filling flavours. Sophisticated winemaking techniques including partial fermentation in new French oak barrels and ageing on yeast lees have created a wine of great intensity and complexity.
Growing Region: Frankland River, Western Australia
A warm, dry spring, followed by a moderate, dry summer, led to an early vintage and these conditions led to even ripening and intense flavour development in the fruit.

Intense flavours of lemon curd, honey and buttered toast with citrus blossom and fresh hay nuances meld seamlessly with delicate slaty acidity and hints of vanillin oak to create a wine which is lond and delicate; cluminating in a clean mouthwatering finish.
Ready to drink now this wine will also gain in complexity over the next five with careful cellaring.
